About NWDS and how we work
Where are you based?
NWDS Property Development Ltd is based at 273a Raby Road, Hartlepool TS24 8HF. We're a construction and property development company registered in England & Wales, company number 15005408.
Which areas do you cover?
Hartlepool and the whole North East, including Seaton Carew, Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar, Darlington, Durham, Peterlee, Bishop Auckland, Sunderland, Washington, Newcastle, Gateshead and South Shields. If it's in the North East, we'll come and look at it.
What kind of work do you take on?
Full property renovations and refurbishments, from a single new kitchen to a full house taken back to brick and rebuilt. We also do refurbishment and maintenance contract work for estate agents, letting agents and landlords.
Which trades do you cover?
Kitchen installation, bathroom fitting, plastering and skimming, joinery, plumbing, lighting and electrical fixtures, structural alterations, groundworks and foundations, roof repairs and installation, exterior rendering and cladding, hard flooring, carpet fitting, painting and decorating, media walls, landscaping and paving, building regulations compliance, project management and general property maintenance.
Do you bring in lots of different subcontractors?
No. Every trade you need is handled by us, and one team runs each job from strip-out to final finish, so you have one point of contact throughout.
Are your quotes free?
Yes. We come out, take a proper look and give you a clear, written quote with no vague estimates. The price and scope are agreed before work starts.
How does a full renovation run?
There are four stages. First we visit and give you a written quote. Then the property is stripped back to bare bones, with structural work and groundwork sorted first. Next comes the build and fit: plastering, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, electrics and plumbing, all by one team. Finally it's decorated, snagged and cleaned before handover.
Do you offer contracts for landlords and estate agents?
Yes. We already hold contracts with estate agents. We offer rolling monthly arrangements covering refurbishments between tenancies, end-of-tenancy work and planned or reactive maintenance across a portfolio.
What are your working hours?
Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
